Job summary

Baystate Health in Greenfield, MA is seeking a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our Cardiology team. The role includes greeting patients, handling check-in/check-out, and verifying insurances in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider,

and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our experienced Cardiology team in Greenfield, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Baystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.

SCHEDULE

• Full-time, 40 hours a week
• Monday through Friday, 7:45a-4:15p

LOCATION

• 164 High St
• Greenfield, MA

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• At least 6 months in a medical office setting, preferred
• Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST
• Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
