American Health Imaging is seeking afull-time Patient Service Representative, customer service-oriented professional for our medical front office position at our Cinnamon Creek facility in San Antonio, TX.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.

ThePatient Service Representativewill assist patients with check in, check out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered into the System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records

Requirements:

• 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital is highly preferred
• Experience with Insurance Authorizations and Verification
• Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
• Strong Customer Service, Communication and Computer Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Medical Terminology Knowledge
• Medical Assistant Certification is a plus
