Tenet Physician Resources in Texas is seeking a non-exempt front office professional for a physician practice. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, collect demographics and verify insurance, supporting a smooth patient flow.

You will check in/out patients, assist with referrals, process co-pays and postings, handle billing tasks, and educate patients about the portal while upholding HIPAA standards and the organization's policies within a collaborative orthopedic group

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Healthcare experience is preferred; familiarity with medical office processes is a plus.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Job Summary

A non-exempt medical office position responsible for front office processes in the physician practice.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
• Adheres to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
• Demonstrates support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by being knowledgeable of compliance responsibilities as expressed in the Code of Conduct; adhering to federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures policies that affect his/her specific job functions/responsibilities; and reporting compliance issues/concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.
