Axia Women’s Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide a seamless, friendly experience for patients at the front desk and over the phone. You will greet patients, schedule and modify appointments, register patients, collect copays, verify insurance, and support daily admin workflows.

This role emphasizes teamwork, HIPAA compliance, and compassionate, efficient service within Axia’s patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as medical receptionist or PSR preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule and modify appointments and register patients.
• Handle phone calls, messages, and referrals efficiently.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and clearly communicate benefit limitations.
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth practice operations.
• Adhere to SOPs and policies, including HIPAA & OSHA.
