Job summary

Andwell Health Partners is seeking an RN to deliver skilled nursing care in home settings around Lewiston, ME. This weekend-based role operates within a Hospice department and follows a physician’s plan of care, with a 36-hour paid schedule over 30 hours of work per week.

You will evaluate patient needs, educate families, and coordinate with care teams to ensure comfort and quality of life in the community. Eligible candidates bring Maine RN licensure and strong caregiving skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Reliable car with valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes per physician's plan of care.
• Develop and implement plans of care with measurable outcomes in collaboration with patient/family.
• Provide education and promote patient rights and responsibilities in the plan of care.
• Assess and identify the patient’s holistic health care needs.
• Demonstrate competency in assessment and technical skills.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled nursing services to the patient in their own home under the direction of a physician’s plan of care.
• Develop plans of care with realistic/measurable outcomes in collaboration with the patient/family.
• Provide education and promote patient’s rights and responsibilities for informed decision making in the plan of care.
• Assess and identify the patient’s holistic health care needs.
• Demonstrate competency in assessment and technical skills.
• Possess and utilize knowledge of pain control & symptom management.
• Work 30 hours per week and get paid for 36 hours per week!

What You’ll Bring

• Current R.N. license in the State of Maine.
• ANA certification in Home Health or Community Health Nursing encouraged.
• Current CPR card required.
• One year of recent clinical nursing experience required.
• A reliable car with insurance.

Salary Range

• $33.45 - $47.34 Hourly
