Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Lakeland, FL to provide exceptional front desk support at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, verify information, schedule visits, and assist with insurance verifications to ensure smooth patient flow.

Working weekdays with potential for variability, you will be part of a team that values patient experience, accuracy in documentation, and effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register and assist patients, explaining visit expectations and next appointment details.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance companies and translation services; support operations.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals and perform insurance verifications/authorizations.
