Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health seeks a Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float to cover front office duties across multiple practice locations as needed. The role requires travel between sites and flexibility to support more than one location in a day.

You will greet patients, handle check-ins/outs, schedule appointments, verify demographics, collect co-pays, scan documents, and uphold HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
• Schedule appointments and requested testing
• Enter and track referrals
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures
