Easterseals PORT Health in New Bern, NC is seeking a compassionate full-time Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) to join our Opioid Treatment Program. The PSC will handle front desk duties, check-in/check-out, collect co-pays, manage medical records, and process patient paperwork with a focus on outstanding customer service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with mental health populations preferred, proficiency with EHR systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Your Role In Our Mission

As a Patient Services Coordinator on the team, you will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical functions in a clinic that serves adults with substance use, mental health and co-occurring medical conditions. The PSC will serve as a member of the front desk administrative team that checks in patients, collects co-pays, handles medical records and processes patient paperwork and data. As the face of the organization at check-in and check-out the PSC proves excellent customer service to all patients and families visiting the clinic.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $14 -16/hr. based on experience for this Full-time position.
