Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative for Foundation Hematology Oncology in Nashua, NH. The Per Diem position supports patient registration, appointment scheduling, referral management, and front-desk operations with a patient-centered approach.

You will greet patients, handle calls, verify demographics, collect payments, and ensure accurate records while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reception and front-desk practices and patient registration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, and register patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information per policies.
• Schedule appointments, tests, and referrals with required authorizations.
• Collect, verify, and update patient demographics and registrations.
• Post co-pays and patient balances accurately.
• Check patients in and out; maintain accurate medical records.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in trainings.
