Job summary

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support frontline patient access at our Hale Pawaa location. You will interview, register, admit and update patient records, and assist in processing fees generated by department providers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and at least one year of clerical experience in a health care setting; EPIC experience is preferred. We value friendly communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills.
• One year of clerical support experience in a health care setting or related experience.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, register, admit, and update patients’ medical records.
• Process professional/technical fees generated by department providers.
• Handle cash and collections.
• Act as liaison between patients and staff to ensure quality service.
