Responsibilities

• Prepare billing paperwork and update patient demographics and insurance in the practice management system.
• Scan insurance cards and verify insurance eligibility for billing.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance online or with carriers.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles and balances at check-in; balance cash box and daily report.
• Prepare end-of-day bank deposits and send required documentation to Clinic Financial Services.
• Enter referrals and authorizations into the system; assist with special projects as assigned.
