Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking a Patient Service Representative for our Northwest location in Austin, TX. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, handling patient scheduling, check-in/out, insurance verification, and data accuracy for radiology services.

You’ll engage with patients and staff, process authorizations, and support the billing office with accurate information. A medical office background and certification are valued, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
• Experience in authorizations and insurance verification preferred.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to handle heavy patient volume.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Assist with authorizations and verifications.
• Check-in / check-out patients.
• Answer multiple phone lines.
• Provide accurate information to billing office.
• Perform insurance verification.
• Ensure accuracy of patient data in system.
• Process requests and file patient records.
