PRISM Vision Group in Peoria, IL is seeking a Telephone Scheduling Coordinator to manage high-volume patient scheduling. You will handle about 100 calls daily from start to finish, coordinating appointments, rescheduling, and inquiries.

The role requires exceptional customer service, clear communication, empathy, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. On-site training is provided, with potential to transition to remote work after training with manager approval.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Answer and manage approximately 100 calls daily, including scheduling appointments, rescheduling, and handling inquiries.
• Schedule patient appointments for office visits, scans, labs, and procedures following established protocols.
• Communicate appointment details and instructions clearly to patients and internal staff.
• Document all call interactions and scheduling details accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate with providers and other departments to ensure accurate scheduling and follow-up.
