Job summary

Sacramento-Ear,-Nose- is seeking a Medical Scheduler to manage patient appointments efficiently. You will handle referrals, authorizations, insurance verifications, and keep the database updated while answering phones and screening calls.

You will provide excellent customer service, coordinate with the care team, and apply critical thinking to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and at least one year of scheduling experience are preferred; EPIC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• At least 1 year of computerized appointment scheduling experience.
• Excellent communication and empathy for patients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and phone calls.
• Preference for EPIC software experience.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
