Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Medical Scheduler to handle incoming calls from patients, providers, and care teams.

You will schedule appointments, collect demographics and insurance information, and guide patients through pre-registration and financial responsibilities with warmth and accuracy. The role emphasizes professional patient interactions, adherence to scheduling protocols, and collaboration with the provider care team within office-based operations.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of work experience in a similar patient scheduling role and/or provider practice preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferable in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of managed care policies and insurance requirements preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Scheduling: Obtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during scheduling.
• Pre-registration: Complete pre-registration and insurance verification and communicate financial responsibility.
• Clerical/customer service: Perform clerical duties and maintain customer service per guidelines.
• Follow HIPAA & OSHA standards.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
