Job summary

Presbyterian Espanola Hospital is seeking a Scheduling Customer Service Representative to handle patient scheduling, referrals, messaging, and demographic maintenance. You will respond to calls and inquiries via phone, Pres Online, and in person, delivering service excellence and accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and data-entry skills with experience in Excel or similar databases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus one to three years office/business experience; call center experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and staff.
• Requires strong organizational skills and ability to create, sort and analyze reports in Excel or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for patients regarding scheduling appointments, referrals, messaging, and demographics.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, respond to inquiries, and meet quality standards.
• Maintain documentation in databases and coordinate scheduling, registration, and financial arrangements.
