Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments.
• Cancel and reschedule appointments as needed.
• Consult patients regarding participating status of insurance contracts.
• Take messages for physicians and medical assistants.
• Check HMOs for authorizations.
• Schedule and confirm interpreters.
• Insurance verification (E&B).
• Assist front office staff with overflow work.
• Cover front office during sick/vacation.
• Respond to inquiries via text messaging software.
• Process payments in eCW for copays, balances, or past due debt.
