Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Henderson, NV. You will efficiently confirm, cancel and reschedule medical appointments while delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with an hourly rate of $16–$17. You will adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality while supporting other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills or able to engage with all levels of an organization.
• 1 year of customer service experience in call center, retail, or medical office.
• Attention to detail and outstanding customer service aptitude.
• Proficiency in Internet, intranet resources and MS Outlook.
• Typing speed 35 WPM or higher.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers professionally and courteously.
• Reschedule and cancel medical appointments using scheduling software.
• Verify patient demographics information for accuracy.
• Provide patients with appointment prep, location, and special instructions.
• Document patient interactions in electronic medical records system.
• Follow up to confirm appointments and remind patients of visits.
