Job summary

CHAS Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to improve patient access by handling calls, scheduling visits, and maintaining accurate data in the EHR. You will be the first point of contact, delivering friendly service and guiding patients through appointment options across clinics.

This role supports the care team by managing follow-up appointments, rescheduling missed visits, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience working in a clinical setting preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patients and provide scheduling information.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with on-site scheduling.
• Manage patient waitlists and outreach to reschedule missed visits.
• Document scheduling activity in the electronic health record.
• Support scheduling quality improvement initiatives.
