Atlantic Health is seeking a part-time Scheduler I in Morristown, NJ. This role handles high-volume inquiries and coordinates scheduling for outpatient imaging, referrals, and general department information across Atlantic Health locations.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, pre-authorization, data collection in the EMR, and ensuring timely appointment confirmations. Strong focus on customer service and accurate data entry is essential.

Qualificações

• 0-3 years of prior experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• All legally/reasonably expected certifications needed for function and level.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• EMR experience, preferably EPIC.
• Call Center experience, preferably in a Radiology imaging location.

Responsabilidades

• Handle incoming calls, SMS, web requests and schedule appointments for Atlantic Health locations.
• Verify registrations and insurance; coordinate with payer for pre-service approval.
• Enter and update patient demographics, insurance data and required forms in the EMR (EPIC).
• Coordinate with patient and physician practice to obtain missing information or inform status and amount due.
• Promote patient portal usage and collect pre-service financial responsibility.
• Work in a high-volume environment maintaining productivity and quality standards.
