Job summary

Rezolut, LLC in Pomona, CA is seeking a full-time Patient Scheduler for Centrelake to coordinate patient and client appointments, manage a high-volume call center, and maintain accurate patient information within HIPAA guidelines.

You will schedule, reschedule, and remind patients, verify demographics in EHR/EMR, obtain referrals, and work with partner systems to ensure timely exams. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 1 year of prior medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of radiology, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and client appointments across multi-line systems.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and send appointment reminders.
• Prioritize patient needs and locate immediate or alternative scheduling.
• Manage cancellations and rescheduling for all parties.
• Make outbound calls to schedule exams using client lists.
• Provide exam preparation instructions, directions and information.
• Verify and update patient demographics in EHR/EMR systems.
• Obtain referrals when applicable and coordinate with patients.
• Work within client systems to schedule and remind patients.
• Document scheduling details and patient information across systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance in all processes.
