Job summary

Rezolut is actively seeking a full-time Patient Scheduler for Assured Imaging in Tucson, AZ. The role involves coordinating patient and client appointments, managing a high-volume phone system, and maintaining accurate patient information in EHR/EMR systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of medical scheduling experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance. This is a full-time position offering benefits and a 40-hour work week.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system and coordinate appointment dates and times.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and provide appointment reminders.
• Prioritize patient needs and identify urgent scheduling options.
• Handle cancellations and reschedule as needed across sites and programs.
• Make outbound calls to schedule exams using client and insurer lists.
• Provide patients with exam prep instructions, directions, and site information.
• Verify and update patient demographics in EHR/EMR systems.
• Obtain referral status and necessary referrals for records.
• Coordinate with partner systems for scheduling and reminders.
• Document scheduling communications across systems and teams.
