Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community and internal departments.
• Schedules tests, procedures, treatments and services with minimal support.
• Determines financial accountability information and referrals proactively.
• Answers scheduling calls with minimal support.
• Registers new patients into the EMR, including demographics and insurance information.
• Verifies patient’s insurance for eligibility and benefits utilizing Epic Real Time Eligibility.
• Assists with community referrals or other referrals as appropriate.
