Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
• Provides calming and reorienting conversation with patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
• Identifies and removes hazards from the patient and environment, reporting as appropriate.
• May assist with activities of daily living as delegated by supervising RN.
• Provides continuous safety observation via video monitoring for at-risk patients.
• Remotely monitors multiple patients and summons staff via alarm when appropriate.

Education
