Job summary

Responsibilities

• Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
• Provides calming and reorienting conversation with patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
• Identifies and removes hazards from the patient and environment and reports as appropriate.
• May assist with activities of daily living as delegated by supervising RN.
• Provides safety observation via continuous video monitoring for at-risk patients and performs de-escalation as needed.
• Remotely monitors multiple patients and redirects at-risk behavior, summoning staff when appropriate.
