Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Retention Specialist to engage patients via inbound and outbound calls, resolve concerns, and drive loyalty. The role emphasizes a patient-first mindset, active listening, and problem-solving to prevent churn.

In this full-time remote position, you will use multiple software platforms to assist with payments, inquiries, and claims, document interactions, and escalate issues as needed while maintaining strict patient confidentiality in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in collections or customer service.
• Experience in a high-volume, phone-based environment.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Demonstrated confidentiality with patient information.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound calls from ExactCare’s existing patient base.
• Assisting with general inquiries, making payments, and questions regarding claims.
• Handling patient concerns and escalating issues as needed, ensuring all efforts are made to retain existing patients.
• Maintaining a consistently positive attitude and patient first approach to deliver stellar service to all patients.
• Maintaining current knowledge of products and services offered.
• Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values in all communications and interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
