Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a patient registration professional in New Bern, NC. You will obtain accurate patient information, secure signatures, and scan documents into the system, while communicating with patients, physicians, and staff.

You will also answer phones and manage visitor flow. The role requires strong customer service, 2–3 years in a hospital registration or medical office setting, and the ability to type 45 wpm.

Qualifications

• Two to three years in a hospital registration department or medical office setting.
• Bookkeeping, computer use, and office machine knowledge.
• Selected candidate must obtain CPAT within 18 months of employment.
• Type 45 words per minute.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
• High school diploma required, Associate's degree in Medical Office Technology, Business Administration, or related strongly preferred.
