This role requires a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. The position is office-based in Winchester with potential shift differentials and overtime eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Background checks as required for regulated areas.

Aufgaben

• Obtain and enter demographic, billing, and insurance information into registration and billing systems.
• Provide patients with information on insurance, bill payments, and hospital procedures.
• Complete pre-certifications and authorizations as needed.
• Prepare consent forms, privacy notices, and obtain electronic signatures for treatment and financial obligations.
• Collect deposits, co-pays, deductibles, and patient payments; issue receipts; document payments.
• Prepare patient identification armbands and balance daily receipts; follow system flags for collections.
• Conduct screenings and gather information for coverage; complete related forms.
• Perform medical necessity checks and Advanced Beneficiary Notice when required.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments per workflow.
• Verify order completeness and match with scheduled services.
