Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of customer service experience in hospital, office, or call center settings.
• Ability to work onsite at 175 Fore River Parkway, Portland, ME 04102.
• Day shift with 7 AM – 8 AM start times; 8- or 10-hour days; weekend rotation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and greet families; collect demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; process referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Collect co-pays and explain out-of-pocket costs; follow up on balances.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of registration requirements for various units.
• Provide compassionate, clear communication to patients and caregivers.
