Qualifications

• Experience in clerical or customer service roles preferred.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients/family to collect accurate financial and demographic data for prompt payment.
• Verify insurance eligibility and determine payer in the account to minimize denials.
• Estimate patient charges for outpatient exams and determine liability.
• Collect amounts due from patients and ensure signatures and necessary forms are obtained.
• Assist patients and visitors using AIDET principles and maintain confidentiality.
