Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is hiring a Patient Registrar to collect patient demographics, insurance information, and proper signatures for billing in inpatient, outpatient, or ED settings. You will verify benefits and authorizations, supporting prompt claims processing.

The role requires accurate data entry, excellent customer service, and the ability to balance daily cash postings while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must be able to prioritize and work independently.
• Good customer services and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge: ability to operate a PC, create/save/print documents, input data.

Responsibilities

• Completes all required registration/billing information accurately and timely in host system.
• Prepares ID armband, barcode label sheets and obtains signatures as needed for registration.
• Proficient in use of patient accounting registration software and related processes.
• Assists with verifying insurance and authorizations to ensure timely patient care and billing.
• Collects deposits, co-pays and co-insurance amounts; balances daily journals and cash postings.
