Job summary

Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center, located at Seattle, WA, is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Registration Specialist for its centralized operations team. The role handles end-to-end patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and digital communications onsite at our Seattle clinic in the Northgate area.

You will manage high-volume calls and support both external patients and internal clinical teams with accuracy and empathy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of medical office experience.
• Exceptional customer/patient service/interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation, empathy, and ability to multitask.
• Clear and effective communication; attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
• Knowledge of computer and phone systems.

Responsibilities

• High-Volume Call Management: manage and answer all incoming calls efficiently.
• Customer Service Excellence: patient-first attitude and strong internal service.
• Healthcare & Insurance Knowledge: basic referral, payor, and service processes.
• Technical Proficiency: navigate EMR/EHR, multi-line phones, and MS 365.
• Attention to Detail: accurate data entry, registration, and scheduling rules.
