Qualifications

• Ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred.
• MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Obtain information to generate accurate financial and demographic records for patients to ensure reimbursement and outcomes.
• Schedule appointments, interview patients for medical information, explain charges and policies, enter charges, and collect payments.
• Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately.
