PRO~PT Physical Therapy is seeking a Registration Clerk to greet patients, schedule initial evaluations, and manage a smooth front-desk workflow. You will handle phone calls, verify insurance, explain co-pays, and ensure accurate data entry in the EHR system with strict HIPAA adherence.

The role requires attention to detail, multitasking, and a courteous, patient-centered approach. Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus) and experience with scheduling software are valued.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a healthcare registration role.
• Proficient with EHR systems and medical terminology.
• Experience with appointment scheduling software.
• Strong data entry and HIPAA privacy awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and schedule initial evaluations.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
• Explain co-pays and billing policies.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient charts.
• Answer phones and coordinate with clinic staff.
• Manage follow-ups and inquiries in dashboard.
• Assist in training staff and restocking supplies.
