PRO~PT Physical Therapy in Fresno, CA is seeking a Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, schedule evaluations, check in, and manage front desk operations.

The role requires friendly, detail-oriented individuals versed in EHR, insurance verification, copay collection, and HIPAA compliance; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role.
• Basic computer skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check in patients, verify insurance, and collect copayments as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage the calendar.
• Distribute and collect forms, assist patients with completing them.
• Document cancellations or changes in schedules in medical records.
• Answer and route incoming calls and provide information to callers.
• Update referring clinics and workers' compensation carriers with progress reports.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA confidentiality.
• Assist with training department staff, ordering supplies, and other duties.
