SEARHC is seeking a Patient Registration Specialist in Southeast Alaska. You will manage scheduling, verify insurance, and collect payments during the registration process to ensure smooth service delivery.

Strong attention to detail, customer service, and familiarity with EHR systems are essential. This role supports multiple departments and requires a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma may be preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred where applicable.
• Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling resources for patient appointments.
• Manages communication tools for patient scheduling requests by patients and care teams.
• Manages the pre-registration review process for insurance verification for upcoming appointments.
• Manages follow-up appointment requests.
• Retrieves payment collections for services and co-pays or upfront payments.
• Ensures registration compliance and proper documentation.
