SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks a Patient Registration Specialist to obtain and verify patient information during registration, and support intake for service delivery. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and collaboration with care teams.

Eligible candidates typically have 1 year in healthcare-administrative roles, strong communication skills, and familiarity with EHR systems.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, behavioral health, dental, customer service or administrative setting.
• Knowledge of front-end revenue cycle requirements and payer processes.
• Internal SEARHC candidates with 1 year as a Patient Registration Specialist Trainee may qualify.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments and manage resources.
• Verify insurance and complete pre-registration for upcoming visits.
• Collect documentation and ensure registration compliance.
• Scan documents into the EHR.
• Coordinate portal sign-ups and patient outreach.
• Provide excellent customer service and works with care teams.
