Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; healthcare leadership background
• 3–4 years supervisory experience required
• 2–3 years management in hospital/medical setting preferred
• 1 year experience with third-party payor approval and collection preferred
• 1 year familiarity with established clinical review criteria preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviews quality and quantity activity using available reporting tools; initiates co-worker counseling and retraining
• Manages training schedule; solicits evaluations and feedback and makes adjustments
• Reviews and approves/denies all co-worker PTO; maintains staffing levels and open communication
• Improves methods for monitoring and reporting registration information quality
• Coordinates processes with Patient Accounts and Insurance/Payment Verification; analyzes errors
• Organizes data, meets deadlines, ensures data integrity and comparability
• Resolves pending issues; drills down to root causes and obtains resolution for SJC
• Responsible for complete payroll processing; ensure payroll record integrity
