PSCFL is seeking a Customer Service professional to greet patients and families, collect information, and schedule or register services in a healthcare setting. The role involves verifying payer information, obtaining authorizations, and managing payments.

Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential, with a preferred Spanish-speaking capability. Responsibilities include ensuring HIPAA/EMTALA compliance, coordinating with departments, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to accurately enter and interpret data.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and families in person or by phone with excellent customer service.
• Obtain demographic, third-party payer, financial, medical information and ID to schedule or register patients.
• Obtain authorization, referrals, and collect payments as required.
• Comply with HIPAA and EMTALA regulations.
• Schedule physician or hospital services and confirm appointments in advance.
• Notify and communicate with departments to address issues and patient needs.
