• Verifies health insurance and completes pre-certification when necessary.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket payments, and balances daily cash activities.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments, completes referrals, and processes documentation promptly and courteously.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical records and supports office communications and documentation workflows.
• Greets patients and visitors, directing them to appropriate locations and resources.
• Coordinates admissions, procedures, and bed assignments in collaboration with physicians and departments.
