Job summary

Premier Primary Care and Peds – Clyo is seeking a Medical Center Representative to perform general clerical, receptionist, billing, referrals, and patient registration duties in a medical center's business office.

The role handles sensitive medical and financial information daily, manages scheduling and calls, and operates under the Practice Manager. Requires clinical terminology knowledge and HIPAA understanding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of experience in an ambulatory health care facility sought.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA law. Confidentiality is of utmost importance.
• Knowledgeable of Third Party Payers, ICD-10 and CPT Coding is a plus.
• Computer and keyboarding skills are required; EMR experience is an advantage, EPIC preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well with multiple teams and in multiple settings.

Responsibilities

• General clerical, receptionist, billing, referrals, patient registration and customer service for the operation of the business office in a medical center.
• Handle a high volume of sensitive medical, financial and personal information daily.
• Daily scheduling, incoming calls, patient registration, billing/collection functions, and other duties as assigned.
• Support daily operations of clerical components of the center under supervision of the Practice Manager.
• Process arrival and exit of 20+ patients per day accurately and efficiently.
