Job summary

Perinatal Partners is seeking a Medical Center Representative to perform clerical duties, patient registration, billing and referrals in a busy medical center. The role involves handling a high volume of sensitive medical and financial information and requires strong HIPAA compliance.

The MCR will manage daily scheduling, incoming calls, and billing activities, working under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager to ensure smooth center operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two to three years of ambulatory health care facility experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Third Party Payers, ICD-10 and CPT Coding is a plus.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records; Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle general clerical tasks, receptionist duties, billing, referrals, patient registration and customer service in a medical center.
• Manage daily scheduling, incoming calls, patient registration, and billing/collection functions.
• Support daily operations of the center's clerical components under supervision of the Practice Manager.
