Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations.
• Collaborate with Admitting, PBX, and reception areas.
• Input and retrieve data on computer systems.
• Communicate with patients across age groups using appropriate terminology.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.
• Complete special projects within specified timeframes.
