Virtua Health is hiring for a part-time Registrar position in Camden, NJ. The role involves gathering patient demographics, verifying insurance benefits, collecting payments, and ensuring accurate data entry in the hospital system.

You will act as a first contact with customers, provide exceptional service, and assist with scheduling and documentation. Required is a high school diploma with a preference for Epic system experience.

Formación

• 1 year customer service in a professional setting preferred.
• Positive demeanor with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle potentially stressful situations and multiple tasks.
• Basic typing, computer and word processing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers and enters patient demographic information into the hospital information system.
• Verifies benefits and obtains required authorization.
• Obtains co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and deposits.
• Performs accurate and thorough registrations.
• Acts as first contact representative of Virtua with excellent customer service.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards and enters data into the system.
• Collects and processes payments and facilitates billing issue resolutions.
• Provides referrals and payment options for financial assistance.
• Offers additional office support including scheduling and filing.
