Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months customer service.
• Knowledge of computers and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients presenting to Freeman Health System; conduct patient interviews and obtain required signatures.
• Initiate financial counseling process and collect monies owed.
• Verify insurance at point of service and calculate patient estimates; represent the system as the first point of contact.
• Be the focal point for all initial communications with patients and families.
