Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• Proficient computer skills and basic office equipment.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
• Preferred: medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients presenting to Freeman Health System and conduct interviews to obtain registration information and signatures.
• Initiate financial counseling and collect monies owed; verify insurance at point of service and calculate patient estimates.
• Represent Freeman Health System as the focal point for all initial communications.
