Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Front Desk Registration Clerk for full-time night shifts. You will register patients, collect necessary information, assist with financial counseling, and collect payments. You will verify insurance at the point of service and serve as the primary contact for initial patient communications.

The role requires customer service experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to type at least 35 WPM. Medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• Knowledge of computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Register patients presenting to Freeman Health System and collect required information.
• Complete forms and obtain signatures; initiate financial counseling and collect payments.
• Verify insurance at point of service and communicate with patients and staff.
