Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Strong typing skills/speed.
• Comfort in answering phones and speaking with customers on the phone.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Ability to read and write clearly, and understand policies, labels, and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide appointment scheduling and registration services for patients.
• Interview incoming patients to obtain demographics and verify insurance eligibility.
• Support clinical staff with patient paperwork and care as needed.
• Data entry accuracy and timely processing of patient information.
• Perform check-in/check-out and other organization processes per procedures and policies.
• Balance end-of-day deposits and conduct in-office collections as applicable.
