Job summary

One Health Ohio is seeking an office support specialist to prioritize patient care and smooth clinic operations. You will handle patient check-in/out, verify insurance, manage referrals, and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include processing lab results, coordinating with providers, handling calls, and supporting the front desk. A high school diploma and CPR ability are preferred; no nights or weekends required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Patient check-in/out experience.
• Completing new patient profiles and insurance info verification.
• CPR or ability to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support in clinical area and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure patient referrals and related paperwork are completed daily.
• Handle all phone calls promptly and record messages for providers.
• Forward lab results, notes, and patient communications to referral organization.
• Assist with scheduling and rescheduling missed appointments and update EHR.
• Support front desk and other departments as needed.
