Job summary

Amen Clinics is seeking a Patient Outcome Manager to serve as the first therapeutic contact for patients. You will establish rapport, provide comfort, and tailor interviews to symptoms while aligning follow-up coaching with treatment recommendations.

The role requires a counseling mindset, strong communication, and the ability to convert intake information into accurate physician history reports for clinicians to review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology is required.
• Mental Health/intake experience and familiarity with medical terms and office operations is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; typing 45–50 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures during scheduled appointments.
• Assess paperwork provided by the patient.
• Clarify intake responses and transfer to the history report with symptoms and impact on life.
• Gather information on medical history, past psychiatric history, education and family history to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform mental status exams and document results in the report.
• Complete the history appointment within two hours with a typed report available after appointment.
• Review treatment recommendations with the patient and answer questions about the physician report.
• Assess patient needs and provide relevant support.
• Assist with various duties or special assignments as time permits.
